We performed at the Whatcom Allied Arts Festival at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal - a good time and lovely view.

We had a wonderful summer picnic at Squalicum Park to celebrate Damekor's 20th anniversary. Many former chorus members were able to attend and we had delicious food and a fun sing along!

These pictures are from the February 2014 meeting of Nellie Gerdrum Lodge where the Bellingham Damekor provided the program.  We sang Ja vi elsker in 4 part harmony.  (We chose this song because we knew they would all know it.) We then joined the audience and invited them to sing with us in whichever part they felt comfortable.  Steve went through each part separately then all together - amazing how effective this was!  Several singers then told a bit about the chorus and what we do - we were hoping to recruit some new members.  Lots of ladies said afterwards how much fun that was.  We followed that audience participation thing with some performance numbers of our own.

Photos were taken Dec 2013 at the Woodrose Apartments where  our singer, Dorothy Schuler, lived.  They always enjoy the Holiday Sing-a-long and provide refreshments for us.
